How big is the mug?
It is a standard 11 oz mug: 330 ml, about 9.6 cm tall and 8 cm across. The printed design wraps round the whole mug except a strip by the handle.
Which colours can I choose?
The outside is always white, because that is where your photos are printed. You choose the colour of the inside and the handle: white, black, blue, green, pink, red or yellow. The price can differ slightly by colour; the page always shows the price of the colour you picked.
Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes, both. The mug is glazed ceramic and the print is sublimated into the glaze, so it can go in the dishwasher and the microwave like any other mug.
Will the print fade?
The design is printed by sublimation: heat turns the ink into a gas that bonds with the mug's coating, so the colours sit in the surface rather than on top of it. It doesn't peel or scratch off in normal use.
Where is the handle, and how do I design around it?
The two side edges of your design meet at the handle, where the mug isn't printed. The editor shades those edges and warns you if text sits too close. Held in the right hand, the right half of the design faces the world; in the left hand, the left half. The 3D preview shows both.
How many photos can I use?
Up to 8. One photo with a short text, or 2 to 4 photos, usually look best. Describe what you want and the AI designs the layout round the mug for you.
Can I add names or a message?
Yes. Add a name, a date or a short message; the AI places it where it stays readable and away from the handle.
How long does delivery take?
Your mug is printed close to you: in the Netherlands, the UK, the US, Canada, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden and the Czech Republic, and in Australia for Australian orders. Delivery usually takes 3 to 7 business days; the exact time and cost for your country are shown before you pay.
