A clear, front-facing photo of one person in daylight works best. No sunglasses or filters.

How do I make a custom children's book with my child as the main character?

Add one photo of your child, tell us their name, what they love and what kind of story you'd like. We draw them as a storybook hero, write the story around them and lay out every page. You then open the book, change anything you like, and order a printed hardcover.

Will the character really look like my child?

We draw your child once as a character and paint every page from that drawing, so the hair, skin tone, eyes and glasses stay the same throughout. The best results come from a clear, front-facing photo in daylight. If you're not happy with the first drawing, you can draw it again for free.

What happens to my child's photo?

It is used only to draw the character for your book and is deleted as soon as the book is drawn. It is never shared and never used to train AI.

What age is a personalised picture book for?

Any age. You choose who will read it, from toddlers to big kids and even grown-ups, and we write the story for them: short, rhythmic lines for the youngest, richer sentences for older readers.

Can I change the story before printing?

Yes. Every word is editable in the book editor: fix a name, rewrite a page, change the title or the dedication. Nothing is printed until you order.

Can siblings or pets be in the story?

Yes. Add up to three companions, like a big sister, Grandpa or the family dog, each from their own photo, and they join the adventure.

How big is the book and when does it arrive?

It's a square hardcover with 30 pages, printed close to you. Most orders arrive within a week; the delivery date is shown at checkout.
